Incorporates the high risk OB/GYN RN Case Manager classification into representation by OFNHP.
(2008RN08) Overtime Calculation for Coordinator Hospice-Palliative Care, Inpatient Nurses
For Hospice and Palliative Care RNs, overtime is only paid for above 40 hours in the week. These RNs may flex their daily schedules based on hours worked in the week and needs of patients.
(2008RN07) Wage Step Adjustments (Steps 10 and 11)
Process for correcting mistaken step placements for RNs that should have been on steps for 16 or 20 years of experience.
(2008RN06) Clinical Optimization Consultant Position
Accretion Agreement for the Clinical Optimization Consultant Position. Waives certain overtime and scheduling rules.
(2008RN05) Revised Float Pool Agreement
Revises Inpatient RN Float pool agreement (RN Article 10.E) - revises required availability, eliminates ability for management to remove coding from RNs, establishes process for requesting shifts and time-off.
(2008RN04) Annual Certification Monies
Clarifies that the certification fund component of the RN education fund is funded at $20,000.
(2008RN03) Flex Team Differential Overtime Proposal
Establishes overtime and other compensation (e.g. keeping differentials from regular position, etc.)
(2008RN02) Workweek definition-FLSA Compliance (2 parts)
Defines the start of the work week for FLSA compliance purposes. The second LOU that states that KP will bargain to keep employees whole if changes reduce compensation is missing.
(2008RN01) RN Hiring
Addresses problems in RN hiring: establishes requirments for RN positions,  training programs to allow career mobility, unit shuffles to allocate positions within units prior to regional postings.
(2008OFNHP02) RDH, RN, Tech Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Changes
This letter of agreement eliminates the Taft-Hartley trust fund that had administered the defined contribution retirement plan for the RDH, RN and Tech bargaining units.  Existing and future resources were transferred to Kaiser's Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA).  Eliminated significant charges to members for administration of plan and trust.

Amends contract language in order to comply with family leave laws.  Provides standards for the use of leave balances for different types of family leave.
(2007OFNHP05) Oregon Rest and Meal Period Combination
Implements flexibility under Oregon law to allow for the combination of meal and rest periods.

(2006RN09) Overtime after standby-KSMC-Procedure Units

(2006RN08) Allowing trades resulting in consecutive shifts without driving overtime
Allows for KSMC RNs to trade shifts in ways that result in 4 12 hour shifts or 5 10 hour shifts in 2 payroll weeks without driving consecutive day overtime.
(2006RN07) Education Leave
Clarifies process for requesting educational leave.
(2006RN06) Continuing Care Services On-call positions
Establishes availability to work requirements for on-call RN positions in Continuing Care Services.
(2006RN05) Dual Licensure (RN)
Establishes requirement for dual licensure (Oregon and Washington) for positions meeting Board of Nursing criteria. Establishes standard for Employer reimbursement of certain costs.
(2006RN04) 7-70 Vacation Accrual
Establishes vacation accrual for RNs working 7/70 schedule.
(2006RN03) 2006 RN Tenure Step Grievance
Grievance settlement that establishes process to correct tenure step misplacement.
(2006RN02) Seniority
Provides for reciprocal seniority at 1 year of seniority for every 3 years of service (5 years of seniority maximum) upon gaining a position within the ONA or OFNHP RN bargaining unit.
(2006RN01) Foreign Nursing Experience
Establishes rules for determining what foreign nursing experience will count toward tenure step placement.
(2005RN01) On-Call and Float Availability for Brookside Residential Treatment Facility
(2003RN01) CCS overtime payments for workers working after-hours call.
Establishes standards for overtime payments for workers working after-hours call in Continuing Care Services.
(2001RN01) Elimination of Sick Leave Accrual Cap for RNs
Eliminates the sick leave cap for RNs. Sick leave can be accrued without limit subsequent to this LOU. Not printed in contract due to printing error.
(1998RN01) Tuition Reimbursement Policy Exception
Allows RNFA students to use an entire year of tuition reimbursement funds in one quarter in order to pay for RNFA course tuition.
